This project consists of several design & build projects for the collective spaces in Wooncoöperatie De Warren, including a collective kitchen, mezzanine, office desks, tribune stairs, a cabinet wall, a bar, wood storage and an activities board. The collective spaces of De Warren are used, managed, maintained and upgraded by its residents. There is a music studio, workshop, theater space, kids room, laundry room, meditation room, office, bar, 6 kitchens and a sauna. The designs arise from the needs of the community, providing feedback and helping out during construction. Most of the projects are built from the building materials left after the construction phase of the house, and found on the neighboring construction sites on Centrumeiland (IJburg, Amsterdam).
