The goal of the workshops was to engage with the youth on the Pampuslaan in building a bar and a market stand for the community center Carabic. Carabic is a new ‘buurthuis’, which needs some color and culture to feel like a home for its people. The furniture was built from discarded Douglas wood from an affiliated contractor.

We spray-painted several full size construction boards with tags of postal codes, their tramline and wordplay, which were integrated in the furniture pieces.
