The premise of the workshop was for 12 architects to learn how to work with hempcrete, a material recently gaining attention. Hempcrete is a carbon negative material that can be used as an insulation material, adding thermal mass and with a high fire resistance. It is also an alternative for non-loadbearing concrete, much lighter and with a negative carbon footprint.

The workshop made use of 35cm spiro tubes as formwork to cast cylindrical columns of different heights that can be used as stools or pedestals.
