The transformation of the kitchen in community center VrIJland to host VoKu evenings and delineate a bar area. The old kitchen is cut up in three parts and complemented with heavy wooden tops to create more surface area and a better flow. The wood used for the finishing is repurposed from construction sites around the community center, which brings together the residents of the new neighborhoods of IJburg in Amsterdam Oost.
